Last night Gail texted me for a ride in Ventura. It was an early call. I had to be there at 6:50 which meant I had to get up at 5:30. And I did! I didn’t realize that there was a city called Ventura. I hadn’t ridden for 5 days. I was recovering from my 45-mile ride on Saturday. Plus, it had been a really hot week. Today I wanted to work on strength, so I opted for the hills of Calabasas.
