In this retreat, participants will analyze the Pinocchio predicament and the moral choices that people are faced with on a daily basis. What causes a person to do the things they do? Peer pressure, temptation, ignorance, lack of will power – all of these and more will be discussed in this retreat. In addition, participants will reflect on the consequences of right and wrong choices through role play, storytelling, and journaling.

Teachers will break up into groups and determine the main elements of their philosophy of education. Teachers will come together, share their thoughts and collaboratively compose a new and updated philosophy of education that embraces current trends and innovation in the field.

Topics to be covered include loneliness, isolation, transformation, acceptance, diversity, and tolerance.
