In this workshop we will study the history, meaning and mysteries of the Chartres labyrinth with special emphasis on the rose and its significance in Catholic mysticism. We will revisit the story of Juan Diego, the appearance of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the symbolism she represents and how that relates to the labyrinth. In addition we will examine the Rose Window of Chartres Cathedral and its relation to the labyrinth. In this workshop we will experience a personal connection to Our Lady of Guadalupe and discover how one can receive the special blessings she has to bestow by walking the labyrinth in prayerful meditation.
