Today, I wanted to ride my bike a little further than I usually do. I originally thought I would ride to Calabasas, but once I got out on the road, I decided to ride to West Hills. I took a left on Burbank, took a right on Platt, a left on Ingomar, a right on March, a left on Roscoe and a right on Valley Circle and then I rode all the way to Lake Manor, Chatsworth. It was a beautiful day and I passed several other cyclists. When I got to Plummer, I decided to turn around and ride back through Lake Manor.

I noticed a couple of rain drops and then I remembered that it was supposed to rain. And then came the downpour.

I guess it’s just part of the sport. I stopped for shelter at one of the diners and watched the rain come down. I tried to think of it as a positive, like wealth and abundance raining down on me. I waited about ten minutes and it seemed to let up a bit, so I started to ride back home. I had to be extra careful because it is harder for drivers to see cyclists in the rain, so I kept as close to the side of the road as possible. The rain only lasted for a few more minutes, and by the time I got to West Hills, everything was dry. I posted a couple of clips on Instagram.
